Hittin' Up Kane County Flea Market

Made it out to Kane County Flea Market this weekend.  Went there last year for my first time but didn't have the time to walk through it all.  I was so eager to go back this year and finally had the chance.  Me, my mom and Bub loaded the car and off we went.  Picked up some great finds and lots of ideas for projects around the bungalow.  Here we are enjoying our day and scoping out many cool things.

I loved this bird bath.  Too bad it was $195.

These tin tiles were awesome.  They were from a church in Indiana and would be nice hung as art.

Bub decided she needed a break.  She was such a trooper.

Beautiful flowers could be found throughout.  Lots of nurseries bring in their flowers by the truckloads.  My mom got herself two LOVely hanging baskets for $7.50 each.

To my friend, Paulina, I thought of you when I saw this beauty!  Cute way to fix an old ladder and such a great idea using it as a planter.

Another beauty but it was "sold".  Both are beauties but only the bench was for sale.  The nice yellow color made it an eye catcher.

And for the pieces I found and brought home with me.

Two old windows I got for $3 each.  Thinking about making message boards or maybe hang on the kitchen walls as they are.

Stoneware mixing bowl for $10.  I've been looking for one to use as a fruit bowl.  Typically these are found for $25 and over.  A vendor at another flea market I went to in the past was asking $85.

Milk jar I found for $3.  Other booths were selling them for closer to $20.

A cute basket I couldn't pass up.  Scored for $5.  Great piece for storage.

My favorite find is the cart I paid $7 for.  The dealer went down from $15.  This will be accompanying me on my future trips.

2nd trip to the Kane County market was a ton of fun and I can't wait to go back!

  1. LOL! great pics! The ladder is really creative, and the bowl is perfect! But my favorite is the cart, hahaha! I can just picture you walking around looking for garage sales with this as your handy carrying device!

  2. Great finds! I just bought an old window to prop up on my piano and I am lovin' it! I'll have to come back and see what you decide to do with yours!

Thanks for your comment. Have a LOVely day!!!
