Randolph Street Market

I made it to the Randolph Street Market for my first time this past weekend.  I was joined by my sweet Bub and friends April, Sherri and her too cute daughter, Gillian.

A lot of stuff to see, LOVely things for sale but prices on the expensive side.

Here are shots from the day.

All in all it was a fun day and I would return again for the atmosphere.  If you are looking for decor bargains I would say that you should try other flea markets in the area.

Have yourself a LOVely day!

Here is a sneak peak at a BIG DIY project I am working on.

This first image is of shots taken by Paulina and made into a card for me.

The following shots are a couple I took.

Have some more things to work on but hoping to share the fun VERY soon!

Oh Happy Day!

Hi Everyone!  Hope your day is going as well as mine!  Wheeee!

I was featured again.

Please make sure to go check it out at Cozy Little House.

Thank you so much Brenda for welcoming me to the blogging community and sharing the LOVE!  Today was another special day for me!

So, guess what?

My camera came and I have been playing a TON with it.  Things have been so crazy busy I haven't even been able to share with you.

So sorry :(

On last Sunday the Bungalov fam spent time together outside.  We had a great day!  Here are some of the shots I took of Bub playing and my pretty flowers :)

Oh HI and here I am!

Talk to you again soon!  I am off to the Randolph Street Market today.

Hope I get some good stuff!

A Versatile Blog Award For Me!

Thank you so much to Melissa at Shabby Love.  She thought of my little Bungalov and gave me a Versatile Blog Award.

I feel so special again and appreciate the LOVE!

Now go on by and check out Melissa at Shabby Love.  She has a super cute blog (anything with Shabby in the name is always fun) and is good at thrifting too!

Here is my award!

I am still waiting for my statue to come in the mail.

OK, not really...

After accepting the Versatile Blogger Award, the blogger must:

1. Thank the person who gave the award and link back to them in your post
2. Share seven things about yourself
3. Pass this award along to 10 recently discovered blogs

Here are seven things about myself.  This is not easy for me...I am not good at telling info about ME.  I never know what to say.

Here it goes:

1. I was born in the 70's.  OK, 1979 but still in the 70's baby!

2. I used to be a HUGE NKOTB fan.  Oh just in case you're out of it that is New Kids On The Block.  Loved them!  Even went to 2 concerts in the past 3 years...

3. I was married in Hawaii.  Gosh I would love to go back!

4. My day job is in Property Management and I have a degree in Marketing from SIUC.

5. I lived in Burbank, CA for a brief time after college.

6. I love eating hot dogs.  I am from Chicago you know.  I don't like relish tho and yes I get mine with ketchup so there!

7. I love reading tabloids and about celebrity gossip.  I sometimes feel I know way too much about their lives.

Well, that wasn't too bad and I tried to give you some random tid bits.

Now, here are 10 blogs I've recently discovered that I hope you will take the time to visit.

I cheated a little (sorry) and included some of my favorites that I'VE BEEN's ok if I don't get a shout out back but I'd like them to know they are some of my fav's and give me inspiration :)

I have so many more I'd love to share but I will follow the rule of only 10 :)

Hurry on over and check out all the other girls!

OMG...I've Been Featured! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I just found out Peonies and A Vintage Setting was featured on Pink Postcard.  A lovely blog I have been enjoying to read.  Denise is the author and just like me enjoys to share things about life, family and home.  Make sure to stop on by and check her out!

Thank you so much Denise for the feature.  I'm having another day of feeling all giddy.  I am SO very honored!

Now in blog land this happens all the time but since this was my first (and I hope more to come) I was a little excited...I felt like I made another accomplishment.

Thank you again Paulina for taking the amazing pictures of my table setting.  We rocked this one together!

And Aunt Joan for gifting me the galvanized container that I use ALL the time for displaying flowers!

Most of all THANKS to YOU all for reading!!!

Now go and enjoy your day!  I might treat myself with a coffee :)

It's A Nice Day for A White Wedding

It's a nice day to start again (come on)

It's a nice day for a white wedding

It's a nice day to start again.

Gotta love some Billy Idol!

I've been asked by a dear friend to help decorate her upcoming wedding!  WHOA!  This song pops to mind when thinking about it and being all giddy...

What an honor.  I cannot wait!  I feel so lucky that she asked me.  And a little flattered :)  It feels nice when someone likes your decorating and has confidence that you will help make their special day memorable.

We met to talk about the design and she is going for white with touches of light pink and peach, delicate, vintage, shabby chic.

I can do this.  I am absolutely ready for the challenge.  She also already has a ton of great decor and ideas put together.

To help prep myself I went looking for inspiration.  Aww shucks I found so many beautiful wedding decor ideas.  It was so hard to stop looking.

This was an inspiration photo shared by the bride.  These are the type of flowers she has chosen.  Garden roses.

I just love these newspaper heart confetti.  What an easy romantic touch.

This dessert table was apart of the show sTORIbook Weddings with Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.

These uber cute signs for the bride and groom chairs can be found on Etsy.

I cannot wait to share more of this special project!

Thank you to my lovely friend for asking me to help!
