Group Giveaway @ Donda Lee's!

Hi Everyone!

How was your turkey day?

Ours was great!!!  Stayed at the bungalow and ate way too much turkey.  We were all in a coma
at the end of it all.

I don't know how those of you who went shopping at 10 pm last night made it.  And I LOVe black Friday and always go out early morning.  But the day before not for me.  I waited until 6 am and went out with my sister.  We HAD to get some zzz's in.

Speaking of shopping I have something fun for you.

Head over to Donda Lee's for a group giveaway Dondi is hosting.  One of the items you can win is a fall leaves banner made by moi and sold in the BungaLov Etsy shop.

Donda Lee's Group Giveaway Details

There are so many great items for the winner.  I am jealous I cannot win :)

Details are listed on Donda Lee's and this great giveaway ends tomorrow, Saturday the 26th.

Talk again soon!

Have you heard of BHLDN?

OK am I the only one?  Who was just introduced to BHLDN.
If you LOVe Anthropologie you will LOVe BHLDN.
I promise.
It's the wedding site from Anthro.
Get over there right now and check it out!
Now I was told about BHLDN just yesterday from my sweet friend Cristina.  She always has my back and keeps me in the loop of the things she knows I will LOVe.
So low and behold she sent this to me on my FB.

Spot something?  Here is a hint.  Look in the middle.
Vintage Treat Pedestals
I promise I never heard of BHLDN before and was ecstatic when I saw their pedestals.  They're just like my treat stands.  Now by no means did myself or BHLDN come up with the idea of these pieces.  But I LOVe that our style is the same and I sell mine for a fraction of the cost.

The Betsy Rose Treat Stand is on Etsy currently for $25.00.

Vintage Roses Treat Stand is $15.00
I have more stands for sale on Etsy and have a bunch more ready to be listed.  If you are interested click on over to BungaLov's Etsy shop.
Enjoy your day!  I am about to enjoy mine.  Sipping on a cup of joe now and heading to Target :)

Treat Time!

We finally got around to eating a yummy fall time treat.

The Mr. made us a scrumptious apple pie.

Yep.  The Mr.  He LOVes to make apple pies.
This time he used the pie crust and autumn leaves cutters I gave him last Christmas.  Both from Williams Sonoma and I bought them on sale after Thanksgiving.

Aren't those maple leaves the cutest?  Very festive!!!

The Mr. will be making another for turkey day.
Would YOU like to come over and have some pie with us?

The Little Desk That Could!

For that cloffice I am working on my plan was to get myself a desk from IKEA.  Not my vintage style but right for my pocket.

Well, YIPPY and skip that plan.  I found myself a little treasure and the perfect LOVely desk for myself.  Woooo hoooo!!!

Check her out.

I think she is a beauty and so much better than the cheapest of desks from IKEA.  I paid $15 buckaroos for this gem.

Things I LOVe about her?  She is chippy.  Has a drawer for me to stash things away.  Lots of shelves to pile on my supplies.  And best of all?  The perfect candidate for some chalk paint.  For those of you not familiar with that type of paint (and no not black chalk board paint) drop it in that unknown thing called Google and look it up.  Lots of LOVely pieces have been redone using chalk paint and I will let the others who've written about it give you the deets.  Make sure to look at images too.

So, took out my Paris Grey and prettied her up.

I've been playing with chalk paint for the past month and estactic how this piece came out.  I used dark wax but before applying experimented with using bee's wax.  I wanted some dark wax to show through but not be prominant.  Didn't splurge on the clear wax so used what I had in my supplies.

Worked really well and I LOVe how my sweet little girl turned out!

You likey too?
