November 2012 Kane County Flea Market

Hi Friends!

W.O.W.

What an AMAZING weekend at the flea market!

Met so many new people, had a TON of fun, bought some new things, worked our butts off and sold a bunch!

I am so grateful for the way everything turned out and amazed how each time I do a show I LOVe what I am doing even more!

To show off the difference this first shot is my booth from last November when I did my first show all on my own.

And here is the booth this time around.

I know.  Crazy, right?

Hard work pays off!

This is what we started with.

Me and my sister were talking about pitching a new show...

Flea Market Wars or something that shows the behind the scenes of setting up a booth.

It seriously is nuts what you go through.  You have only a few hours to go from nothing to a little store.  You keep your shop set up for two days, sometimes less, and then you take it all down and pack it up.

Exhausting.

But so worth it!!!

Sweet pouches embellished by me.

Check out these super cute earrings we're selling from Made by Jewls on Etsy.

Our vintage map clothespins.

We also have "Twine on a Stick".  Our own unique twist on selling spools of twine.

My sweet sister spent hours and hours wrapping these with LOVe!

Here is my sister, Mandy, in action.  So glad to have her on this journey with me!

C'est Moi.

We had a blast but definitely feeling tired and sore.

We plan on being back at Kane County in May 2013 and might do the April show.  We will let you all know for sure.

The plan this winter is to sell on Etsy and paint some great pieces of furniture.  If there is anything you see on here and may be interested in please message me to see if it is still available.

Also, our chicken wire windows and frames were a big hit again.  I will be putting those on Etsy along with my holiday "JOY" windows.  Until I get them up and if you are interested please message me. I am more than happy to do a custom order for you.

Well, have a great Monday!

  2. I am so happy with how great this weekend went! So much work, but the outcome has been amazing! I couldn't be more excited and anxious to help with projects and special orders this winter. We've got some serious picking to do!
